Current Project - This is where I share whatever it is I happen to be currently working on.  I have added a pictorial history of HF rigs I have owned.
Station W2LJ - Deep in the basement of the Makoski household is "the shack". This is where I play radio and build whatever it is that I am building.

Portable QRP Ops  - This page contains a description of my CW QRP portable set. Also some stuff on the PAC-12 antenna system and the NorCal Doublet.

Morse Code - A page dedicated to the mode I love.  A little bit about my experiences with CW and a little bit about prosigns and how to adjust a Bug.
Links & Favorites  - These are some of my favorite Web sites that I have discovered in my travels through the WWW.  Also, you'll find a list of
good Ham Radio blogs here.

Operating. - This page will feature some of the newest and best information about various QRP operating events.  Also, you'll find N2CQ's QRP Contest Calendar  as well as an answer to "Does QRP really work?"

Learning the Code - A page with helpful hints, tips and resources for anyone
who is contemplating learning Morse Code.   Also, tips on making that 1st QSO!

Personally Speaking - A bit about my Ham career; and a chance for me to get
on my soapbox! Plus some samples of my QSL card designs throughout the years

I would like to dedicate this Website to the memory of four Silent Keys:
George Miller K2FD, Julius Kardos WV2O and Chuck Phillips WB2MSV, and Charlie Laterra  N2LHD.
These four gentlemen embodied the finest qualities to be found in Amateur Radio operators.
They were a credit to our hobby.
